Hey guys!  We’re so excited about our first ever, live, online critique!  Post your images in the May Critique Forum and we will collect them there!  Or you can email them to us directly!

All images will remain anonymous during the critique!

If you are unable to attend the May critique, we will post the link to the video so you can download it and watch it later!

Submit an image for a chance to have it randomly picked to be edited and discussed.

CAN I GUARANTEE MY IMAGE IS SELECTED?

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WEAR AN UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER TO THE LIVE ZOOM CALL, YOUR IMAGE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHOSEN.

Community Guidelines

  • *3 Pictures/Day – MUST be different subjects*

Hey folks, in an effort make sure we can get through all the pictures and comment on them, we’re going to ask that everyone limit their daily posting to no more than 3 images per day or 1 Album.  If you have any questions, concerns or feedback please send Tiff a private message.

 

  • Ask For Critique! 

If you would like a constructive critique, please indicate in your post by stating:
“CC Please” or “CC Welcome”

In addition, feel free to ask for specific feedback on subjects in your image.

  • Refrain from “Great Shot” Comments

We can all post on Facebook and get “great shot” comments all day long, but here we need to help each other and give thoughtful feedback.  This shouldn’t take more than a couple seconds to tell someone exactly what you like in an image or what’s distracting you.

  • Beyond Images…

Please feel free to post any nature images, questions, news, or anything related to nature photography that you feel might be helpful to the group.

  • CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM:

A good rule to follow…the sandwich method of constructive criticism:

Give a positive (what you like) about the image, YOUR SUGGESTION (this is just your opinion) and then another positive comment.
